The Executive Director serves as the chief administrative officer of the Consortium: Plans, organizes and directs all phases of a large group self-insured program within the requirements of the law and under the general supervision of the SDIC Board of Directors; plans, organizes and directs the activity of the Consortium and internal claims staff in order to meet programs goals and objectives; executes the administration of all Consortium matters with proper delegation of authority and responsibility. The Executive Director reports directly to the SDIC Board of Directors, Member School Districts and serves as the designated liaison to the Commonwealth Department of Labor and Industry and the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation to ensure compliance with all legislative acts governing the Workers’ Compensation program and is responsible for communicating essential information.
